  1. I’m curious… Why does the archer use the “Mediterranean” 3-finger draw with his arrow resting on the RIGHT side of the bow? The Med-finger pull tends to “rotate” the arrow shaft to the right. Med-pullers use the left side of the bow so the shaft “hugs” and pulls against the bow for stability. Great for instinctive hunting with canted bows and 3/4 snap draws for brush hunting. If the arrow is on the right side, the thumb ring or hardened leather thumb cover is used with the right hand “pronated” (palm down) to pressure the arrow shaft to hug the bow. Some of our friends like the option for both and use a leather thumb-forefinger glove as the arrow rest for either Med-left or Asian-thumb right draws.
